As you may know, I have a new company. We turned book writing and publishing into a service.
I mean this literally. We can turn your idea or knowledge into a professionally published book, that is completely your words and your voice. There is a catch though: it’s expensive (our service starts at 15k), which means we can only help a select few people.
Our goal at Book In A Box was never to just do this for rich people. Long term, we want to turn our process into a SaaS product, so we can price it very cheaply and make it available to anyone. If we can do that–make the process for writing books simple and easy and frictionless–I think we can change the world for the better. .
But creating any sort of SaaS is really hard. It’s going to take time.
In the interim, . I mean this literally–we walk you through our exact process to go from idea to finished manuscript. Using this book, you should be able to completely replicate our process, and the only cost is your time.
It takes us about 12-15 hours to walk an author through this, and we estimate that it will take people about 100-150 hours using this book. If that sounds like a lot, compare it to the 1000+ hours of work that most books take. A 10x reduction in time is pretty amazing.
